3 tips for finding the perfect swimsuit for your body.

1. comfort = confidencei'm a big believer that when i feel my best, i look my best. same concept goes for swimsuits: when you feel the most comfortable, your confidence will be high and you'll rock that swimsuit! it also has the opposite effect. ever been in a swimsuit that was too tight, revealed too much, or just didn't fit right? chances are you didn't feel great in it and that feeling reflects on your confidence. comfort means something different to each person, but knowing your body shape and finding the perfect swimsuit for that shape is vital to achieve that comfort which translates directly into confidence. which leads to #2...2. know your ASSetsknowing what to flaunt and what to minimize when it comes to swimwear is the key. want to show off your booty, but maybe minimize your tummy? a cheeky, high cut one piece is the way to go {try this}. afraid of your girls spilling out of your suit? luckily, high-necked swimsuit tops are in and the trendy mesh detail goes a long way for showing some cleavage while leaving the rest to the imagination. have a flat chest but a gorgeous back? one pieces are such a huge trend right now and there's so many that provide coverage in the front while having the cutest strappy back details. knowing what type of swimsuit is most flattering may take some trial and error in the fitting room {or your home... i like to order online and try on swimsuits in the natural light and comfort of my own room}, but it's important to get the right fit so you can feel and look your best.3. relax!wearing a swimsuit, especially in public, can leave you feeling a little vulnerable. however, it's so important to just relax and realize that you're in a swimmy to have a good time! once you understand that everyone at the pool/beach is doing their own thing and not thinking about you and your body, it's so much easier to just enjoy your sun time {always with sunscreen, of course!} and realize you don't have to look like you're about to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. there's no need to get worked up or feel anxiety when you're enjoying the sun and swimming in the water. don't put so much pressure on yourself and just have fun! trust me, you look great in a swimsuit. now quit worrying about it!related: 5 ways to feel confident with your curves in a swimsuit - Kortni Jean Blogas for me, i mostly wear one pieces, but every once in a while i'll reach for a high-waisted bikini that covers my tummy and flaunts the rest. unfortunately, a lot of the time high waisted bottoms can end up looking like an adult diaper on my body shape. i recently wore this high cut bikini bottom that are also high-waisted and i've found that is the winner for my body type when it comes to two piece swimsuits! it just seems to hug my curves in all the right ways, covering my soft spots while accenting my best ASSets. ;) you can say i'll be ordering many more in this cut for upcoming vacations! {you can also find the one piece version of my marble suit here.}i've written about poolside confidence previously and i still think it's the best accessory that you can bring with you to any pool or beach setting. xx marble swimsuit top {fuller bust top here}marble swimsuit bottomKaren Walker sunglassescrystal chokermantrabrand cuffCaramello liquid lipstick
