you all probably know by now that Aerie is one of my most favorite brands not only to work with but also to wear in my daily life! i love their body positive, self-love messaging, as well as all of their cute designs for swimsuits, lounge wear, workout sets, and underwear. Aerie truly helps me feel like my best self, even when i'm in their fitting rooms! there's few brands who are as committed to body positivity as Aerie and that's why they'll forever be one of my favorites.Aerie is well known for not retouching their models. i participated in their Love the Swim You're In campaign last year {see my post here} that encourages women to share their unretouched swimsuit photos! it's been so amazing to see women from all over use the #AerieREAL hashtag to show off their beautiful bodies. i've had so many girls and women even tag me in their photos and it always makes me so happy. well, Aerie is back with their Love the Swim You're In campaign this year, and continues to raise money for the nonprofit National Eating Disorders Association {NEDA}! for every unretouched swim photo YOU share with #AerieREAL on IG, Aerie will donate $1 {up to $25K} to NEDA. so not only are you promoting body positivity and self-love in an Aerie swimsuit, you also get to help out a great cause.our recent trip to Miami was perfect timing to snag an Aerie suit and share some body positivity with all of you! i've always loved going to the beach but it hasn't always been easy being in a swimsuit. as i'm sure many of you can relate, my self-love journey has had ups and downs throughout most of my life. however, i'm so happy to be at a place where i truly do love my body. i always tell friends and followers that the best way to practice self-love is to truly live it every single day. don't speak negatively about your body, give yourself a break when you're having an off day, and most importantly remember that your self-worth is so much more than what your body looks like {or doesn't look like} in a swimsuit.i usually wear flattering high cut one pieces to the beach, but this high waisted, high cut bikini from Aerie stopped me dead in my tracks when i saw it! not to mention, my girl Iskra recently rocked this exact top and the ring details sold me. i felt like a million bucks wearing this suit on South Beach. or should i say i felt like a mamacita! big shout out to Aerie for helping me celebrate my body! xx
