Kitchen Dining & Living Room with Arhaus!

It's been SO fun to see our house truly become a home in the last few months. We worked really hard to get a lot done before Taz arrived... and then we worked really hard again to get more done before my family visited for Thanksgiving! Working from home means we don't have a lot of time for home improvement and we were joking the other day that the only time we really get a lot done is before people are coming to visit, haha! While our home still isn't totally completed {we still have two bathrooms to decorate, final touches on the formal dining room, and a few more things here and there}, it feels more like our home every single day!

Our kitchen and living area is one big, open space and we love it that way! It makes the room feel really airy and welcoming. Back in the spring before we moved into our new home, we were still hunting for the perfect sectional to fill such a large space. We knew we wanted it to be big and comfy but still chic. For a year, I had my heart on the Cloud Couch from Restoration Hardware but I just couldn't pull the trigger on it after testing it out in store and hearing reviews from friends who have it. I actually asked all of you on my IG Stories for your couch/sectional suggestions and SO many of you recommended we go check out Arhaus. At the time, neither of us had heard of this furniture company before, but we saw they had a huge, beautiful showroom in Scottsdale, so we wandered in one day. Arhuas actually has a sectional that is similar to the Cloud Couch, but as soon as we sat down on the Kipton {Arhaus' #1 selling sectional}, it was a done deal! It's so comfy, but also keeps its shape so well. We added on a side, plus a chaise, and even ended up doing a custom fabric. From the sheepskin rug and chic pillows to the gorgeous chandelier {my fave!} and marble dining table, every piece compliments each other! We actually decided to add navy as an accent color to this room {it was all white and gold prior} because of the beautiful hand knotted rug under the kitchen table. It really added some dimension to the room!
