Our Most Favorite Announcement Yet...
on this beautiful Easter day, we are over the moon excited to finally share some big news that's been blooming over here...we are welcoming Baby Tripp to our family this October!!!
my heart soars to think we are finally going to be parents! we can't wait for this new and exciting chapter of our lives. i'm 15 weeks today and officially in my second trimester! this was definitely a very hard secret to keep for the last three and a half months... and we may or may not have slipped up twice on Stories... once, i was holding the ultrasound behind Robbie while he was talking in his IG Stories, and then another time i posted a video in our kitchen and the ultrasound was hanging on the fridge in the background! keeping secrets is hard when you're always posting photos and videos of your daily life haha! hopefully only a few of you caught it.i found out i was pregnant the week before Valentine's Day and i waited three whole days to tell Robbie {that full story and video coming soon!}. we've spent the last few months traveling to tell our family and closest friends in person {Vegas, SLC, San Francisco, etc.} and it's been so fun to film everyone's reactions. we will be sharing a sweet compilation of those videos soon. my first trimester wasn't always easy, so i'm sure some of you noticed the slight decrease in blog posts, IG Stories, and posts in general. i'm feeling SO much better now and am experiencing a much welcome surge of energy in the second trimester!a lot of you are aware we were trying to get pregnant for just under a year, and we will definitely be sharing that journey soon. in the meantime, we feel so incredibly grateful to have this opportunity to welcome a sweet baby into our life. God's timing is truly a blessing, even when it was really hard to see negative pregnancy test after negative pregnancy test for many months. my heart goes out to all those who are currently struggling with infertility and i hope everyone on that journey gets to one day, somehow, experience this pure joy we are blessed to be feeling now.Baby Tripp is already so loved! my heart could just burst. i cry at anything tender these days. every day Robbie gets down on his knees and talks to our little Baby through my belly button. it's the sweetest thing! he's continuously adding books to Baby's little library and i can't wait to watch him raise our little Tripp to be positive, passionate, and creative. it still feels surreal to say... we're going to be parents!!we can't wait to bring you all along on this journey with us! thank you for all of your love and support! it means the world to us. xxhuge thank you to our close friends Sam and Ryan from Our Travel Passport for shooting such a special announcement for us and The Flower Fields at Carlsbad for hosting us in this most beautiful location.
