basics, not basic.

some of you may know i work for Style Lately! i am the personal assistant to owner & fashion blogger Megan Mitchell {also known as @Meg_Legs}. this tee is from Style Lately, & i've loved it since day one of working for the company. i love lipstick & the fact that this tee was gold foiled, DONE DEAL. today, i'm wearing it with some really basic pieces that are casual, yet still on trend. you've all seen me wear these moto leggings before, they are my very favorite. seriously, you all need a pair. i've had mine since May & they wear so well {plus they are fantastic to dress up or down}! this outfit was completed with a chic pair of vintage Nike's. my cute hubs gave me these for my birthday after i sent him an eBay link to them a few weeks ago! i seriously love their clean look, but my favorite part is the gold Nike swoosh.andddd lastly this backpack. i've been keeping my eye out for the perfect one for some time now. i wanted one that was minimal & clean looking {no bulging pockets!}, but also something that stood out. i found this Tory Burch backpack at Saks Fifth Avenue & was sold {no longer available there, but on sale at Nordy as of yesterday!!}. it wasn't quite a birthday surprise, but robbie wouldn't let me open it until this past weekend. it's minimal on the outside, but the inside is super roomy. can't wait to take it on our trip to Hawaii after Christmas! xoxx tee: Style Latelycocoon cardigan: Urban Outfittersmoto leggings: willow & claytennies: vintage Nike {love these}backpack: Tory Burch via Saks {also at Nordy on sale!!}necklace: Bliss by Brooke Fittswatch: Michel Kors {similar}bracelet: Kate Spadelips: Rebel
