The Brazilian Court Hotel.
after attending Swim Week in Miami last month, robbie and i headed the hour and a half north for a few days of relaxation in Palm Beach! we had never been before, but heard only amazing things about the quaint location. after doing some research, i decided we had to stay at The Brazilian Court Hotel! this hotel is easily one of our favorites we've ever been to and we couldn't recommend it enough. the location is just two blocks of the beach and the property is so gorgeous. it's almost like you're tucked away in a lush jungle! now, don't let the name fool you. we learned that the hotel itself has nothing to do with Brazil. when it was originally built, the entrance was on Brazilian Street, but after renovations the entrance actually moved to the other side of the property {now Australian Street} and of course the name wasn't changed.as you pull up The Brazilian Court Hotel, you can see why this is such a special location for a hotel. it's located right in the middle of a residential neighborhood surrounded by palm trees, giving you a quiet, relaxing spot to truly enjoy a vacation. this was such a nice change after experiencing the high rises of South Beach! the hotel has it's own signature scent burning throughout that truly gives it that extra luxurious touch-- a delicious orange honey. upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly valet and doormen. check in was quick and effortless from the front desk, and we were promptly shown our room on the ground floor. we were given an actual key, which was the perfect homey touch!there's only 80 rooms at The Brazilian Court Hotel, giving it a boutique intimacy. our room was a one bedroom suite with a patio. we loved having a separate living space for working in the mornings! the patio opened directly to the pool area, so all day long we would come and go directly from there to the pool or jacuzzi. it was heavenly! and i can't forget about the amazing spa bathtub in our bathroom. it had built-in massage jets... enough said. the decor at The Brazilian Court has the elegance of Spanish Colonial architecture and you almost feel like you're being transported to another time period, with complimentary wi-fi of course!the amenities at The Brazilian Court truly make it special. they offer a beach experience where you and your guests can be chauffeured to and from the beach in their Mercedes, stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, sunscreen, water bottles, and reading materials. simply call ahead at least an hour prior to let the front desk know you'd like to be whisked away to the beach! there's a 24-hour fitness center, salon, pet-friendly rooms, and last but not least, the cutest bikes for rent. the best way to see a new location is via bike in my opinion... especially when there's pink Lilly Pulitzer ones available! the famous Worth Avenue is just a few blocks over and we biked all around the gorgeous shopping location. one night we dined at the famous Café Boulud inside of the hotel! Chef Daniel Boulud's award-winning modern French cuisine did not disappoint, and we left feeling delightfully full & satisfied. my favorite part was dessert {of course, you know me with my sweet tooth!} and i'm still dreaming of the delicious peach melba we ended our dining experience with. i highly recommend making reservations here if you're ever in Palm Beach! i've heard their brunch on the terrace is amazing, too. you don't have to be a guest to make reservations!robbie and i were given a tour of the entire property, and we learned so many fun facts! besides the story behind the name, The Brazilian Court Hotel has hosted many celebrities and influential people over the decades. The Kennedys loved this hotel, and Sophia Vergara had her rehearsal dinner here, as Café Boulud is one of her favorites! because the pool is so dreamy {see below!}, many brands have shot campaigns on-site, including Lilly Pulitzer and Jack Rogers. i mean, look at that mirror sounded by palm trees. *dreamy*as you can see, the grounds of The Brazilian Court Hotel are so gorgeous. with a plethora of palm trees of all sizes, you truly feel tucked away {which in my opinion is the best way to vacation}. there's several courtyards with relaxing fountains and plenty of seating for you to enjoy some quiet time in the sun. while our trip to Florida was for work, it was so nice to unplug just a bit in Palm Beach at the beautiful Brazilian Court Hotel. we will definitely be back and couldn't recommend this hotel enough! busy season is between October and May, so even though it was quite warm when we went in July, the town seemed deserted, which we loved! we were truly able to roam around and take photos at our leisure... and hang out by the pool uninterrupted. until next time, Palm Beach and The Brazilian Court Hotel! xx
thanks to The Brazilian Court Hotel for hosting us!
