robbie and i love traveling to LA! it's a six-hour drive from san francisco, which may sound like a long time but it's actually quite an easy drive and always a fun road trip. this month i had two unplanned trips down to the City of Angels for some very exciting opportunities! the first one was for a callback to be in a big campaign for a major brand that i absolutely love {i wish i could share more details but you're going to have to wait with me to see if i get it!}. then, the next weekend we were right back in LA to celebrate the launch of my friend Iskra's new fitness/wellness app EveryBody with Iskra! it was so fun hanging out with a bunch of inspiring ladies for the afternoon and celebrating the first inclusive fitness app {see my post with Iskra here}. the next day, we were right back to the grind for another casting call, this time for Swimsuits for All. i auditioned to be one of nine models in their next photo shoot. cross your fingers for me!while in LA, we stayed at the amazing Carlyle Inn Beverly Hills. first off, i have to say that we could not have picked a more perfect location if we tried {it's technically in West Hollywood, just 10 minutes from Beverly Hills}. every event, restaurant, meeting, etc. that we had planned was within 2-5 miles of the hotel. the location is right in the heart of LA and the hotel is so fun! the branding is so on point with black & white stripes everywhere and pops of green to throw in some fun color. it was the perfect home base for our hectic schedule, especially considering it had a complimentary breakfast in the cutest dining area. there's nothing i love more than a delicious, free breakfast before the start of a busy day while traveling!the staff could not have been more pleasant. we actually forgot BOTH our laptop chargers {there's no bigger nightmare when your job is to blog}, and we called down to the front desk to see if they could help us out. the front desk attendant actually let us use his own personal laptop charger several times! so nice! the free parking is another incredible perk of staying at the Carlyle. we parked with no problems during our entire stay and it was so easy to get in and out of the hotel. also, the lobby is so fab! you'll see what i mean below.from the hot tub and big screen TVs to the retro telephones and art deco lights, the Carlyle is the perfect mix of modern chic and retro vibes. we had the most enjoyable stay and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Los Angeles. i've come to really love and appreciate boutique hotels because you get all the modern amenities {complimentary wifi being one!} while still getting great personal service.til next time LA! keep scrolling to see all the fun photo opps at the Carlyle Inn! you can view their IG here. xx green dress black & white striped heels show orchid lipstick pink mesh detail swimsuit cat eye sunglasses pink Gucci loafers show orchid lipstick black & white striped dress pink block heel sandals pink Givenchy Antigona show orchid lipstick
