Celebrating Baby Tripp - Utah Baby Shower!
earlier this month, my sweet Tripp family threw me a baby shower while we were in Salt Lake City for the 4th of July! for those newer around here, Robbie is from SLC and it's where we lived our first two years of marriage before moving to San Francisco. all of his family is there {besides his brother's fam that just moved to Hawaii}, so it was so fun getting together with them and celebrating our baby boy! because Robbie is the youngest sibling, Baby Tripp is the 10th grandbaby {!!!!}.my sister-in-law Chantel {who is an incredible creative + photographer} planned everything and the shower was hosted in my mother-in-law's backyard. i have a few friends left in the SLC area too, so it was fun to have them there as well. my mom flew in from Vegas and another friend flew in from LA. it was a gorgeous day and filled with so many special memories! the theme was clouds, which goes well with baby boy's nursery {will be sharing his nursery reveal before his birth in early October!}. it was dreamy and whimsical, and i loved it! i'll let you scroll through the photos to see all the details and i'll be linking all the incredible vendors we worked with below. it was such a special day, and i'm so thankful for my sweet friends & family who came to shower me and baby boy with love!as a little tip, because we were flying, in lieu of registry gifts i asked guests to bring their favorite childhood books to build baby's library! it was so fun to see what everyone brought. a lot of people wrote little notes inside the books for Baby Tripp, too! i brought an empty roller carry-on with me, so it was super easy to transport the books home.a quick, funny story... i forgot my bra for my baby shower HAHA. i got my makeup done earlier that morning and had worn sweats and a comfy nude bralette. i didn't change into my baby shower dress until i got to my MIL's house... and realized i forgot my bra! the one i had on did NOT work with the dress {no support, thick straps showed, etc.}. i was in full panic mode until one of my close girlfriends was made aware of the situation and literally took off her bra so i could wear it instead. true friendship right there! learn from me and don't forget your bra for your baby shower, haha!i will be having a second shower in my hometown of Las Vegas end of August with my side of the family and all my Vegas friends, and i'll be sharing that shower as well!now onto the dreamy clouds...
