happy hump day! this shoot was from a few weeks ago, before it was extremely cold & having a coat was a must. {also before my hair was super blonde}. my friend & co-worker from Nordstrom, Rose, is an amazing photographer & i'm so excited to share these photos with you! i love her artistic eye & how she captures light!let's talk complementary colors for a sec. i have always loved mustard yellow in the fall. it's just the perfect color to wear with the changing of the leaves. however, i never would have thought to wear this purple lipstick with yellow. but i was in Nordstrom a few weeks ago wearing this exact sweater & trying to pick out a new lipstick form MAC {thank you recycle program}. one of the makeup artists suggested i try Heroine. i'm not a purple lipstick kind of girl. i was hesitant, but as soon as she applied the lipstick, i was in love. the color wasn't scary. in fact, it was the perfect complement to wear with yellow. {although now i wear it with pretty much any and every color}so here's my challenge to all of you: try something new this week. whether it be a new style you've wanted to try but never dared, a new lipstick color, or a new hairdo.you might just be surprised by how well you love it! sweater: LOFTdistressed jeans: Paigebooties: Jeffrey Campbellhandbag: Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 {on sale here}necklace: Style Latelybracelets: Tiffany & Co, Tiffany & Co, & Style Latelywatch: Juicy Couture lips: Heroine
