doTERRA.

HaleyNordPhotography (9 of 107)i'm so excited to tell you about my experience with doTERRA essential oils! i'm a newbie with essential oils, but i'm also completely sold. i know this may be a controversial topic for some, but i love how they have helped my every day life. i've teamed up with my good friend Jeni over at The Oil Genius to share ways oils have helped me & why i love them! and as Jeni says, 'using oils is basically a natural way to live without toxins in our products, but with an emphasis on the ingredients that really make a positive impact on our health and home. #cleanliving'i'm one of those people who gets a headache/migraine probably four times or more a week. it's a genetic health issue in my family; my mom has gotten migraines for as long as i can remember. as easy as it is to pop Excedrin Migraine every other day, i've been on the hunt for a more natural remedy. enter the rollers Past Tense and Tension Relief {which Jeni made for me}. Past Tense is for headaches and Tension Relief is for migraines--i've used both & am so happy to have found a more natural remedy! i still do use Excedrin Migraine for the really bad ones, but i love that i have a different option to try first. you can also diffuse two drops of peppermint and two drops of lavender in a diffuser for headaches, as well!for those of you who are brand new to using oils like me, diffusing is so simply! fill up your petal diffuser as instructed and pour in a few drops of whatever oil{s} you are wanting to use! i usually let my diffuser run for a few hours. there's different settings on it. the rollers are simple to use, as well! i've used mine on the bottoms of my feet, my wrists, and especially behind my neck/ears/temples for headaches/migraines. you can also pop of the tops of your rollers and diffuse them, too.below are the oils i've been using most frequently and how i've been using them:lemonone drop into drinking water to aide in digestion2-3 drops down a stinky sinkdiffused in my kitchen/bathroom to make them smell goodpeppermintopens up sinuses with a few sniffsquick tension relief by rubbing two drops on back of neckrecipe for Mint Brownies here {on my list to try!}lavenderrub two drops on your temples before bed to help relax & soothehelps calm skin irritants {i used this on a bug bite!}wild orangeeasily my favorite to diffuseaides in anxiety & nervousnessuplifts mooddeep blue rubhelps reduce headachesgood for sore muscles after the gymalso a great way to get a massage out of your husband ;]there's many uses for the above oils & rollers, but those are the main ways i've been using them! be sure to follow The Oil Genius on IG for tips, tricks, and even recipes! Jeni is so knowledge and the cutest mom. i'd love to know your favorite oils and how you use them! comment below or on my IG! stay tuned for a giveaway tonight! xxHaleyNordPhotography (19 of 107) HaleyNordPhotography (6 of 107) HaleyNordPhotography (7 of 107) HaleyNordPhotography (2 of 107) HaleyNordPhotography (8 of 107) HaleyNordPhotography (4 of 107) HaleyNordPhotography (11 of 107) HaleyNordPhotography (5 of 107) HaleyNordPhotography (18 of 107) HaleyNordPhotography (13 of 107) HaleyNordPhotography (15 of 107) HaleyNordPhotography (17 of 107) HaleyNordPhotography (20 of 107)tunic: Forever 21choker: Forever 21jeans: Paige Denimwatch: Michael Korslipstick: Koko Kblowout c/o: h2blowdoTERRA oils/rollers & petal diffuser c/o: The Oil Genius
