exploring life with Banana Republic

i have always loved traveling and exploring the world. in fact, from a young age my family went on trips all over the US and abroad! it was almost engrained in me that seeing the world around me would help expand my mind and form me into the woman i am today. i've traveled near and far, i've lived abroad, and to this day learning about new cultures, meeting new people, and seeing new places still takes my breath away. i'm very blessed that my career takes me {and robbie!} to some of the most gorgeous places in the world. we just returned home from Provence where we saw the rolling lavender fields, ready to be harvested. we've traveled to Tulum, London, Paris, Costa Rica, and all over the US together just within this last year. the explorer in me yearns to see every single little place that's on my bucket list because i truly believe that traveling, experiencing new things, and getting outside of my comfort zone help shape me into a better, well-rounded person. in short, being an explorer is a passion of mine!robbie and i are also extremely lucky to call San Francisco home. it's full of rich history {gold miners, Alcatraz, etc}, home to well-know landmarks {the Golden Gate Bridge, Lombard Street, the Palace of Fine Arts pictured here, etc}, and one of the most diverse cities in the country. we love living here, but we love getting to explore our home even more. there's nothing quite like finding the beauty in your city and exploring all it has to offer.being an explorer means i'm a busy lady. my life is constantly in motion; whether i'm packing up for an international trip or heading out to shoot something in my own city, i'm always on the go. there's a few things i always bring with me: a camera, a classic layering piece, comfy shoes, and a positive attitude. San Francisco is known for it's temperate 50-60 degrees year round and lots of fog. i'm almost always wearing some sort of layering piece, and today i chose to wear a classic trench coat from Banana Republic. my trench helps keep me going: it's warm & dry {functional}, it's très chic {fashionable}, and moves with me. i can't wait to take it on all of my trips all around the world because it's a quintessential clothing item every woman should have in her closet.the only question is... where to next?! xx classic trench coat c|o Banana Republiclight blue teesilk scarflight wash jeansblue suede beltwhite flat loafers {similar}white basket bag {similar}cat eye sunglasses {similar}
