my favorite experiences from winter NYFW.

i'm wrapping up my NYFW posts today and wanted to share a few of my favorite things! New York Fashion week during February is very different than September. first is the obvious of a different season, but overall the vibe is more chill. while there was still lots of rushing around trying to get from show to show, i couldn't help but feel that i actually enjoyed it more and could take everything in better. this may be the fact that it was my second time and i knew what to expect more {read my NYFW Guide here}. however, there are four things in particular that stuck out in my mind of why i loved this season. keep reading for my favorite experiences of NYFW!my girl gangwhile i first and foremost consider this a business trip to help further my blogging career, it was so fun to go with my SF blogger gals! we sort of planned to be together last September, but most of them left earlier than me and i was going alone to shows and events for 2.5 days. tamryn and i roomed together this season and most days we linked up with Ashley, Katie, and Ariana! but on the other hand, i also would suggest to keep an open mind. you're way less approachable when you're with a group of girls already. i had a blast chatting with other bloggers i didn't know while waiting for shows to start and i met quite a few i've been dying to meet IRL at the ShopStyle Social House event when i was by myself for about a half hour.bon appétitlast season, i barely had time to catch my breath, let alone eat. i swear one meal a day was the norm, but not this time around! we all planned on grabbing lunch and dinner together {luckily, Hotel Giraffe provided breakfast}, but for our very last night we made reservations at Aureole for a formal sit-down dinner. we were seriously there for three hours and enjoyed oysters, foie grass, steak, incredible desserts, and drinks. we savored every bite and enjoyed each others' company! we concluded the night at the top of the Knickerbocker. it was the best possible way to end our trip & see Times Square from the best view. thanks so much to Aureole and Ashley for organizing such an amazing dinner!sweat seshi didn't realize how much i needed this until after our class, but it was so good to sweat out some stress, jet lag, and extra calories! Tamryn & i took a SoulCycles class in NoHo one morning and it felt amazing. i'm one of those people who isn't super good {at all} about exercising when i'm on trips or vacations, so this really made me realize how good it was to start my day with a sweat sesh while on a trip! plus, it was awesome to attend a Soul class in another city! i've now been to one in NYC, LA, and of course, many in SF.taking a bite out of the big appleour hotel was just around the corner from the original Shake Shack. Tamryn and i went twice... and it was heavenly. while it's a busy week, it's important for me to do a few things i love, like getting Shake Shack. i lived in NYC a few summers ago and even though i wasn't able to snag some Levain cookies this trip, i did get to pop into Gucci on Fifth Ave and Celine in Soho {where i bought these sunglasses}. we shopped for an hour or two here or there and it was so fun to be a 'tourist' in NYC for just a few moments & have a leisurely time, as opposed to racing around to the next event or show. last season i even went up to the Top of the Rock by myself for a few photos. it's all about balance when attending NYFW {and in life}! andddd next time you can bet i will make it to  to get one of their famous cookie dough confections! mink fur coat {from 101 year-old great grandma's, similar here}nude bodysuit hot pink maxi skirt {similar here & here}thermal black tightsStuart Weitzman calf hair booties {similar here & here}pink Gucci Dionysuspink Le Spec sunglassescrystal chokerpink nouveau lipstick
