from cozy weekend to holiday dressing...
Nordstrom has always been my favorite one-stop-shop. long-time followers probably know this, but i started working for Nordstrom as an intern my sophomore year of high school {i was 15!}. from there, i worked part and full time off and on for the company until i graduated college. i even did their management training program once i graduated. it was my dream to one day be a buyer and work in their Seattle HQ. once married, i realized retail hours weren't my fave, but to this day Nordstrom is still my go to for all my shopping needs! i love how there's so many versatile price points. i can find a BP dress for $30 and then pick up my next designer handbag or shoe for $$$$. the customer service is one of a kind AND i earn points on my purchases {loving their new Nordy Club!}.since the holidays are just about upon us and Nordstrom is my go-to for all occassions, i thought i'd share with you two ways to wear one dress. i snagged this ribbed thermal dress for a steal of deal and knew it would be the perfect piece to dress up and down. for a cozy weekend look, i threw on this comfy cardi {i sized wayyy down to a 6, runs very oversized} and my favorite every day mules. perfect look for Saturday brunch, going to the movies, a casual dinner, or simply hanging out at home. it's easy, comfortable, and on trend for the season.i easily dressed up my look {holiday party anyone?!} by switching my sweater to this plaid long coat {size down, i'm wearing the medium} and a pair of luxe velvet heels. a swipe of lipstick, a fab bag, and you're good to go! who says you can't dress up a $30 henley dress?! either way it's worn, i feel trendy, pulled-together, and holiday ready. xx
