Galentine's Brunch at Le Marais Bakery.

this Valentine’s Day i wanted to celebrate the important women in my life! there’s so many amazing women i’ve met here in SF who have become my friends and support group. even better, each and every member of this group of truly genuine and kind women is a major #girlboss! as an adult, moving to a new city can be hard, especially when it comes to making friends. however, so many people i’ve met here have shown so much kindness and genuine friendship. i'm so grateful for all of them!

i wanted to celebrate these women, so i figured what better way than to throw a Galentine brunch! Le Marais Bakery here in San Francisco was so generous to host this get-together for my friends. some of the gals that attended are bloggers, others are business owners, a few are moms, and some are all of the above. it was such a fun mix because not all my friends knew one other! there’s nothing like introducing people you love to other people you love and seeing them hit it off.

Le Marais has a few locations in SF {one in the Castro, the other one on Chestnut, another opening soon in the Tenderloin, and then another opening soon across the bridge in Mill Valley}, but i must admit that the Castro location is my favorite! the lighting is so gorgeous in this bakery and the aesthetics are on point. Robbie & i have eaten here quite a few times now and every single thing on the menu is divine. Le Marais is owned & operated by a husband-wife team {just like us} so we obviously love it even more! the husband is from France, so every recipe is truly authentic and they make their pastries & bread handmade every morning. needless to say, it’s our very favorite bakery/brunch spot in San Francisco, and thus i was so excited for them to host my girls for a Galentine event!

i had the best morning chatting with all my girlfriends, taking photos, and soaking up some quality time. all the decor and goodie bags were pink and red, which is perfectly themed for Valentine's Day but also two of my very favorite colors! special thanks to Katie Dean Jewelry & ban.do for helping fill the goodies bags.
