this week i'll be sharing a few Fourth of July inspired outfits because the holiday is just around the corner! the 4th is one of my favorites: fun in the sun, amazing bbq food, family & friends, and of course fireworks! plus, it's so fun to dress up in our country's colors!this first outfit i wore as a bathing suit coverup, but you could definitely wear this cute navy maxi dress from Friday Faves out and about. i paired it with my favorite red neck scarf and my flatform laceup sandals. i added my round sunglasses for more of a retro look and of course a red lip!we first started shooting at the swing below at Kirby Cove, after shooting a swimsuit look {coming later this week!}. i've been dying to shoot at this spot, because look at the view! a few people asked me about the location, so here's how you get there: drive across the Golden Gate Bridge toward the Marin Headlands. once you get across and are driving through the Marin Headlands, try parking at the FIRST lookout spot. unfortunately, there's only about 10 spots and a million cars, so i would suggest going during a weekday. lots of tourists stop to park here to get a few photos. if you're patient for a spot they usually leave within a few minutes. you'll want at least an hour to hike down and back. park and look for the signs to Kirby Cove. it's about a mile hike down toward the beach. it's an easy hike {even thought the height may look daunting} and has amazing views. once you get on the beach, the entire GG bridge is visible and there's a swing in the left corner. it makes for super cute and fun photos!our shoot turned into a mini couples session when we decided to head back across the GG bridge toward the City and shoot in a different location, with the bridge still in the background. these are definitely photos i'll treasure, as most of my photos with the bridge are just of me! happy first day of summer! xx off the shoulder navy maxi dress c|o Friday Faves flatform laceup sandals c|o KLIK Footwear red neck scarf california necklace round sunglasses {designer pair here}MAC Red lipstick Hidden Crown hair extensions
