home decor with minted.

i am beyond excited to show you our home today here in San Francisco! we basically started from scratch when we moved from our home in Utah which was full of dark wood and red tones. it wasn't my style at all, it's just the direction that ended up happening with the interior of the home. when we moved to our place here in SF, i knew i wanted white, light, and airy, especially because our space has so much natural light. i knew i wanted a pink sofa {our dark brown couch didn't end up even fitting through our doorway...}, and robbie actually came up with the color scheme of seafoam and blush with gold accents! we started by ordering our sofa {which took over two months to arrive!} and added pieces from there. we actually painted several furniture pieces too, so we didn't have to rebuy everything {the side table, the entertainment unit, and our breakfast bar chairs were all dark wood before we painted them}. i did keep our cheetah chair as a fun {and very us} accent piece! i have a few more pillows coming for the couch, they just didn't arrive in time for this shoot.we love our living space and couldn't be more pleased with how it turned out! the main gallery wall is easily my favorite part, right behind the blush sofa of course! i partnered with Minted to really bring everything together. the gold foil prints are all from Minted and add such great statements of what we love to our gallery wall, like the california cities print. i absolutely love photos, but adding in other elements to a gallery wall really balances everything out.the gold glitter letters you see were custom made for our wedding, but you could easily DIY them with items found at Michaels. we actually did quite a bit of DIY decorating, and it feels so good to have everything come together! if there's something i didn't link below, feel free to ask about it. i'll just be sitting here working on my blush sofa for the rest of the day... xx california gold foil print c|o Mintedgolden gate bridge gold foil print c|o Mintedlove you always gold foil print c|o Mintedpink palm tree print c|o Mintedlight pink heart table runner c|o Minteddusty blush sofateal dip dye trellis rugteal throwgold stripe pillowgold table lamp {similar}gold mirrorscheetah chairsheepskin rug {draped over cheetah chair}letter board c|o Letter Folk Co.pink velvet chairs {similar}ghost transparent crystal chairswhite tufted chair cushionmetal bookshelf {we spray painted it gold}breakfast bar chairs {painted seafoam}
