how i curl my hair

this has been a highly requested post! i shared on my IG Stories exactly how i curl my hair, what tools i use, and of course all the products in my hair routine. the IG Stories will be saved on a Highlight so you can reference them anytime! in a few months when we are moved into our new home and i have a beautiful marble bathroom to film in, i will update this post and include a YouTube vid as well.for now, i wanted to link all of the tools/products i use here! hope you enjoyed the tutorial! what other tutorials would you like to see {every day makeup/more skincare/etc}?! lemme know below in the comments.i'm wearing the large in my heart robe!

i use this repair and restore shampoo and i use the transformative masque as my conditioner {as suggested by my hairstylist since it has more punch than a conditioner}.

i use this brush when my hair is wet. i then have a few serums. the one i use most days is this oil treatment {can use on wet OR dry hair}. my hairstylist gave me the best tip: use a serum/oil on your hair every single day, even on dry hair. your hair is just like your skin in that it needs moisture too. i don't wash my hair every day {and thus it's not wet every day}, but it's still important to find a serum/oil you can use on dry hair to moisturize daily. when my hair is freshly cleaned and wet, i use this moisturizing cream and mix in a few damage repair drops.

this is the white and rose gold blow dryer i use {on sale right now!}. love how pretty it is AND it dries my hair so fast + sleek.

i picked up this 100% bore bristle brush last year when i had a gift card! i think it truly has made my hair more sheeny, but it's definitely a splurge beauty item and not necessary. my bestie picked hers up from Costco, so keep an eye out there!

this is the wand i use to curl my hair and get beachy waves! i've been using it for over a year and absolutely love it. i wrap about one inch sections around the wand and always make sure the tip of the wand it pointing downward. i also leave out an inch or two of my ends so that they have a more straight, textured look.

i've used SO many different dry shampoos across various brand and price points, and this dry shampoo is my fave. love the fresh coconut scent the best!

my favorite product for root volume is this swept up volume powder spray! it's pricey, but a little goes a long way and it really work. use sparingly and be sure to spray under your hair by your roots, not on top of them. my favorite texturizing spray is by the same brand as the volume powder, and i use it on my mid-shafts! i spray from my ends upward to get ultimate volume. lastly, this is the hair spray i use to to keep flyaways at bay! i will spray my hair spray throughout my hair after i curl it when i'm somewhere super humid to help hold the curls. then i will add the volume powder + texturizing spray.

hope this was helpful! feel free to leave any other questions below! xx
