i'll be honest, even though summer is my favorite season with all of its fun in the sun, by the end of it i'm always ready to trade in my swimmers and sandals for cozy sweaters and chic booties. as far as fashion goes, nothing beats fall because it allows for so many fun styles & i love layering up as the temperatures cool down a bit.this past summer robbie & i traveled pretty much non-stop and visited some beautiful warm weather locations. i recently took a spare moment to do some closet clean-up, which was overflowing with sandals, sneakers, and other open toe or comfortable shoes from a long summer of travel and vacation. one look around and i realized i was seriously lacking in the fall footwear department! rather than spending a lot of time and money going to the mall, i decided to stop by my local Marshalls which is near where i grocery shop every week. my mom used to take me shopping at Marshalls in high school and i remember always being able to find great, on-trend pieces. in college, i shopped there frequently too, as it's a great student-budget option! years later, i’m still shopping at Marshalls to find the latest trends for less.i went straight for the footwear section and dove in. the first pair i spotted were the neutral perforated booties by Sam Edelman, which is a favorite shoe brand of mine. i instantly knew they would go perfect with cozy sweaters and jeans, and they would be my go-to booties for fall! since San Francisco is a temperate 60 degrees all year round, i knew i could wear these booties without socks for fall and truly show off the perforated details.next, i stumbled across a pair of gold block heels in the designer aisle. the best part? they were under $45! Kenneth Cole Reaction saves the day! i can't wait to wear these heels with jeans and dresses this fall! i love a good pair of stilettos, but block heels are on trend and i can wear them all day long.the third pair i found were the velvet lace-booties. these were the pair that really took my breathe away, so to speak. velvet, millennial pink, and a block heel!? this shoe basically combines all of the hottest trends for fall. plus, you know i'm sucker for pink! i decided to pair these with a similar color sweater dress for a monochrome look, but you can bet i'll be wearing them with cropped jeans, too.i knew each of these three shoes would be so easy to mix and match with different looks for fall and better yet... they were each under $45! i likely wouldn't have even been able to find one pair of booties in most department stores for the price that i paid for all three of these Marshalls finds! and i don't know about you, but part of the thrill of going to Marshalls is the thrill of hunting for that perfect shoe and the surprise of getting a fantastic deal! #MarshallsSurpriseafter this amazing haul from my last visit to Marshalls, i'll definitely be revamping my footwear collection every season at their store. the prices are unbeatable and you can easily find on-trend pieces that will have you jumping into the new season in style! nothing better than great prices, the hottest trends, and even looks for the whole family. xx
