Mother's Day Gift Ideas
Mother's Day is officially less than two weeks away and I'm so excited! It's my first true Mother's Day, as last year I was just pregnant and we had just announced it as well. It'll be a special day! Mother's Day this year is also our 6th wedding anniversary, too! So it'll be a fun day of celebrating in the Tripp Home this year. We plan to order in a yummy dinner from Flemings as a "date night" after Taz goes to sleep. :] If you've followed me for a bit, you'll know that receiving gifts is my love language {big, small, homemade, sentimental, Chanel, anything!}, so the rest of the day is on Robbie, haha!

I honestly don't think you can go wrong with breakfast in bed and a beautiful bouquet of flowers, either. Simple can be just as special! Farmgirl Flowers are my very favorite! They are based in San Francisco and a small business that would be amazing to support. They are still shipping and trust me when I say their arrangements are so, so gorgeous! If you're looking for a bit of a splurge gift that's also practical, this vacuum is THE best {also here on sale}! My mom gave it to me for Christmas last year and I seriously look forward to using it weekly because it's SO easy to use and cleans up so well. The V11 is the exact model we have {yes, the animal version even though we don't have pets... it's SO dusty here in AZ I wanted something with a lot of pull!}, but it comes in a few models with various price points. As a new mom of a little baby who is about ready to crawl {ahhh!}, it's so nice to have a cordless vacuum that works so well!

Pajamas are another great idea! There's honestly nothing more luxurious than a matching set of soft pjs. I'm not even talking lingerie, I'm just talking something comfy that makes a mama feel put together waking up each day! Soma's cooling pjs are my very favorite, as they are so soft, never make me sweat {even in Arizona summers!}, and have the prettiest prints. I just bought this set {top + bottom} and this sleep dress!
Speaking of cozy... If you want to give the ultimate cozy gift, this is my very favorite blanket {also here and here}! I have my own, I got one for Robbie for Christmas, and even Taz has a little baby receiving blanket, too. They are so soft and warm! The perfect blanket for snuggling up and watching a movie.
Last year on Robbie's birthday {which was four days before Taz was born}, I had this customized book made. There's a mom version too, which would be the sweetest gift!
