my sf.
Fuller House is about to get even more full! {hi, Painted Ladies!}yes, it's true. robbie and i are moving to san francisco!we have known we are moving for a couple months now, but wanted to wait until we had a better idea of things to officially announce. this weekend we are not in the city for vacation or just to visit friends, we have been apartment hunting like crazy! and while the weather has been less than ideal all weekend {thanks, El Niño}, it hasn't dampened our spirits one bit {okay, maybe a little... rain is not my thing}. we can't wait to finally be starting this much awaited next chapter of our lives.while i have loved my time in utah during my college experience and first two years of married life, {it's crazy to think i've lived there 6 years already}, it's never been mine or robbie's intention to settle down there. ever since we first met, california has always been the goal for the two of us. growing up, i loved having california only a few hours away and frequently going on family and friend vacations there. robbie attended school in central california for a year {not far from san francisco} and fell in love with the city. we could have chosen anywhere to move, and were originally planning on somewhere in orange county, but we eventually realized that san francisco would be the best place for what we are looking for. we have several great couple friends who live & work here, we love the weather, the diversity of the people, the historic and creative atmosphere, and the opportunities available. with me wanting to continue to build sassy red lipstick into what i've always dreamed for, the digital nature of silicon valley couldn't provide more opportunities. i also can't wait to meet other sf bloggers, photographers, and fashion focused people. robbie is excited to continue to work for fight the new drug remotely, while also following his aspirations in writing. he is just wrapping up his second book project that we are both so excited for! he can't wait to find the coolest coffee shops in the city to write in and be inspired by the creative energy here. overall, we hope san francisco will be the perfect creative/digital haven for us to thrive.admittedly, it's a little overwhelming moving to a new city, and the unknown is always scary. i broke down once during the exhausting process of apartment hunting {#girlprobs}, but robbie and i are tackling it together and we are just so excited for this adventure! i can't wait to have this amazing city to live in and explore for the next undetermined amount of time. i am excited to be in a fresh place with new faces and more opportunity. and i'm letting you all know right now that there is no shortage of pink walls in this city {we are even currently considering the cutest pink home right now} so be prepared. we are hoping to be moved in by May 1st, if not earlier.thanks for being interested in reading and for all the support thus far! i can't wait to see what sf will look like on sassy red lipstick.we're comin' for ya, bay area! xx top: Free Peoplejeans: Current/Elliottbooties: TopShop {similar}watch: Michael Korslips: Patina
