new year: 2015

dk0a6202how is 2014 already coming to a close?! it blows my mind! i'm almost a little sad to see it leave, because it truly has been the best year thus far: getting married to the love of my life, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Advertising, & starting life together as newlyweds in Salt Lake City.but, at the same time, i'm looking forward to 2015 & all the adventures that will come with it! as per usual, i have come up with a word of the year. last year's word was LOVEwhich was very appropriate due to 2014's events.this year my word, or mantra if you will, is WORK: "activity involving mental or physical effort done in order to achieve a purpose or result." i'm going to work at being a better wife, daughter, sister, friend. work at being more patient, more kind, more loving. work at being productive, constructive, passionate & creative. working at spending less & saving more. work at finding the perfect career fit for me, while also working on my blog & what's best for me in the blogger's world. in 2015, i want to work, & work hard.if you saw this insta yesterday, then you'll know i also have a few goals/resolutions for this year as well, but i'm keeping them pretty simple so as to stay committed.IMG_4077one to make you money: i'm really excited to share this one with you all in 2015, but it's not ready to unveil just yet. for now i'm just going to say that it's something i've wanted to do for a long time and this year i want to finally make it happen! stay tuned!!one to keep you in shape: dusting off my running shoes 3-4 times a week & getting back to the grind. robbie & i were so good about running over the summer, but once fall/winter hit, we slowed way down with that goal. however, i no longer hate running like i used to & even though i can't say i absolutely love it, i do love the way i feel after a run and seeing my fitness increase.and one to be creative: my blog helps foster my creativity & i have some fun, new ideas to keep that going this year! can't wait to show you all!as always, i had to end the year with a sparkly outfit. this one is pretty casual, but since we are in Hawaii and don't have any spectacular plans for tonight, our New Year's Eve will be just that, casual vacation chillin'! which is the best way to vacation ;]a special thanks to you, my readers. i always say that i blog for myself & not for anyone else, but it's because of you that i am encouraged to do what i do here in the blogger world. from the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading, for supporting, and for all your kind and positive comments throughout this past year. Happy New Year to you!ps: for those of who don't know, i lived in NYC two summers ago & this crewneck is a tribute to my amazing time there. i have been dying to get back to the City with my hubs! adding that as one more goal for this year!dk0a6210 dk0a6280 dk0a6214 dk0a6232 dk0a6212 dk0a6249 dk0a6245 dk0a6284 dk0a6215 dk0a6221 dk0a6236 dk0a6244 dk0a6237 dk0a6292 dk0a6260 dk0a6265 dk0a6263 dk0a6277 dk0a6288 dk0a6295sweatshirt: J.
