Nordstrom Anniversary Sale tips.

it's the most wonderful time of the year! the annual Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is just around the corner. early access begins next week, but if you're new to the sale or just need a refresher, i'm here to fill you in on all of the details.last year, i wrote a #NSale tips & tricks posts. as a former Nordstrom employee {over the course of several years, several stores, and several departments}, i have quite the experience with this sale! it's seriously one of the best sales of the year because it’s a sale on the latest styles for this coming Fall! meaning you get the hottest trends for less! prices go back up at the end of the sale for the rest of the upcoming season.let's start with some important details....save the date{s}:early access is July 13th-20thpublic access is July 21st-August 6thhow to get early access:apply today for a Nordstrom credit card to shop the sale early! if you are approved before July 9th, you will receive a $20 Nordstrom Note toward your first purchase during the sale. i have the debit card, which Nordstrom sadly no longer makes. but, the debit card can only be used at Nordstrom, while the credit card you can use anywhere! you gain points per dollars spent. this is the only way to get early access to the Anniversary Sale.

if the card isn’t for you, you can still join Nordstrom Rewards without applying for the credit card and you will still receive a $10 Nordstrom Note to spend at the Anniversary Sale! you use your phone number for this program every time you shop online or in-store.

where to shop the sale:you can shop online or in-store! the sale will launch online at 12:01am PST on July 13th. i'll be shopping it that night to snag everything i really want! items go fast, so i would suggest buying right away. however, people do make returns throughout the 3.5 weeks of the sale, so you may be able to buy something if you didn't get the chance. but, it's definitely a gamble! last year, this top sold out within a few days and was never seen again {a little dramatic, but i know so many followers that weren't able to snag it!}. be sure to read all of my insider tips & trips from being a former Nordstrom employee here.

i usually pop into my local store the day private access begins as well, but this year i will be in NYC and they don't have a Nordstrom {gasp!}. so i will be doing all of my shopping online this year and most likely i will just two day ship all of my items so i can try them on for you. however, i have had a few things sent to me early, so you'll be seeing blog posts right away.

what i buy during the Anniversary Sale:i like to stock up on denim {Frame always has the best trendy denim for the new season!}, fall blouses and sweaters, a new coat, and usually a couple fall shoes! this sale is so great for building your fall wardrobe. there's also classic staples like fitness gear, undergarments, and beauty products to snag, too!
