Park Winter’s Summerland 2018
almost exactly a year ago, Tamryn and i traveled to Winters {about an hour and a half north east from SF} to shoot at Park Winter! Park Winters is the cutest bed and breakfast, farm, and wedding venue. in fact, it was Tamryn’s wedding venue and the reason why we went to visit & shoot all around the property {see blog posts here, here, and here}.
fast forward to this summer and the incredible owners of Park Winters {Rafael & John} decided to host a Summerland event for local bloggers/influencers in the area! most of us came from San Francisco and Sacramento, with local vendors providing so many of the activities, food, etc. it was such a fun day, and such a treat to be back at such a gorgeous property.
Tamryn and i were picked up by a private car the morning of the event and driven to Park Winters {so thoughtful!}. we spent the morning socializing with other bloggers, taking lots and lots of photos {and multiple outfit changes}, and soaking up all that Summerland had to offer. we tasted local honey from PURE Honey, ate donuts at the cutest donate wall, and had lunch catered by Nugget Markets. there’s nothing better than fresh, local ingredients and that’s one of the things i love most about Park Winters! the owners are all about simple country luxury, which is exactly the kind of day i needed!
after lunch, we changed into our swimsuits to take a dip in the pool! it’s so stunning and makes for the perfect backdrop. the best part? The Melt Down Ice Cream Truck parked right outside the pool area to help keep us all cool! loved the little details that made the day {and our photos!} even better.
after a chocolate tasting by Ginger Elizabeth and an outfit change, it was time for the sit-down dinner in Park Winter’s gorgeous barn. our meal was delicious and the perfect summer dinner. we caught sunset just in time for dreamy, golden photos and before we knew it the day was over! i had the best time at Summerland, and even better that i got to attend with Tamryn! special thanks to the incredible vendors and Rafael & John from Park Winters for such a fun day!
