as the saying goes, april showers bring may flowers.this year, that phrase is quite the double entendre for me,considering april has been full of bridal showers in preparation for my may wedding!

with bridal showers, wedding planning, finishing school, job searching, and apartment hunting,the springtime ideal of rebirth, regrowth, and renewal is as powerful as ever.i'm so excited for the fun and exciting changes that are all taking place in my life right now,& while at times i get anxious about all the things that are still left up in the air,the fact that i get to go through all these changes with my husband-to-be,turns my feelings from anxious to adventurous.{feeling sentimental since yesterday was a year to the day that robbie and i first spoke}

anyways, as for this outfit,i couldn't be more in love with midi dresses that are infiltrating this year's spring lines.my favorite part about midi dresses?the fact that i can wear sky high heels.i've always loved pumps,but never been a huge fan of platforms.however, i love the look of a midi dress with 5+ inch heels.it's a great way to add style to a dress that could drown you if you're short like i am.
