sassy lips.

i hope you all had a fab weekend! utah fashion week ended saturday, so yesterday robbie & i relaxed all day, made german pancakes, and watched Leo take home his first Oscar.in today's post, i'm wearing double the red lips, so i thought i'd share my story of how my blog was named sassy red lipstick. growing up, my mom always called me ‘Sassafras,' her quirky spin off my name Sarah. as i grew older, being sassy became a very prominent personality trait. my love for lipstick began my freshmen year of college in 2010 when i realized i could really pull off the look, but at that time i was solely wearing red lipstick. i was required to start a blog for a class that year documenting various subjects, and the name just came to me! two things that make me who i am: lipstick and being sassy. i didn't change my URL to sassyredlipstick.com until the Fall of 2013, after returning home from living in New York City for the summer and being inspired to share my style with the internet.so there you have it! being sassy and wearing lipstick really make me, me. xx  lip tee c/o: SheInblazer: Hinge {similar}skirt c/o: Tamar Collectionheels: Stuart Weitzmanmini bag: Rebecca Minkoffbracelets: vintage & Alex and Anilips: Ruby Woosunnies: Chloeblowout c/o: h2blow
