a few weekends ago, robbie and i attended the Sonoma International Film Festival {SIFF} with Celebrity Cruises! we always love any excuse to visit Wine Country and we seriously had the best time. Celebrity Cruises sponsored the showing of the international documentary film Goddesses of Food in their mobile cinema, which was an incredible experience. the mobile cinema {think a theater on wheels} holds 91 people comfortably, has a high definition projector & sound system, and serves beverages, food, & yummy truffle popcorn. at this particular showing we went to, Celebrity Cruises began the film with a preview of their latest revolutionary ship class, Celebrity Edge. scroll to the bottom of this post to see a few photos of the new ship and watch a video all about it! robbie and i were seriously in awe the entire time, as was the rest of the audience. a Magic Carpet balcony?! suites that are two stories?! count us in for a trip when Celebrity Edge launches in 2018!the mobile cinema was such a cool experience, and on top of that, the film was amazing. Goddesses of Food was such a great reminder of how important female entrepreneurs are in the food industry, as well as every industry. i'm all about females who are innovating & changing the world and this was such a thought-provoking look at how far we've come, and yet how far we still have to go. can't wait for the rest of the world to see this empowering documentary. love me some #girlpowerand finally, while watching an empowering film about females & food, we were served a delicious meal from the girl & the fig. it was the perfect way to kick off the event and even more so, owner & 'culinary diva' Sondra Bernstein was there to share all about the girl & the fig's history through her snackable box we all enjoyed while watching the film.thanks so much to Celebrity Cruises for inviting us to attend! we had the best time. check here to see if the Celebrity Cruises Mobile Cinema is coming to a film festival/local event near you! the best part is you have the opportunity to win a cruise for two when you attend! xx
