i asked robbie to guest write on tonight's blog post to go along with some of our most dreamy photos that were taken by Alice Che! his sweet words mean so much and i'm thankful every single day for the man i married._______________________________________________I feel blessed every day to live the life of my dreams with the girl of my dreams. Sometimes I think about how incredibly excited I would be if Robbie from five years ago somehow got a snapshot of his life today. I would see my list of accomplishments, our place in San Francisco, and most importantly, the beautiful woman I would marry. Years ago, I would sometimes lie in bed at night before drifting off to sleep and think about my future wife: what she would look like, what she would be like, where she lived, how we would meet, etc. Now that I've seen how that story played out--which is quite well, if I do say so myself--I now think about how past Robbie would feel to see that he would actually end up with his dream girl: sweet but also saucy, fancy but also humble, curvy but also active, funny but also sexy. All of these attributes and more are embodied by Sarah.Life before her is kind of hard to remember sometimes because she has been my whole world for so long now, but I have always been fortunate enough to have a great life. I had (and continue to have) a happy and supportive family who loves me, I had a great basketball career (my first love) in high school and junior college, and I always felt passionate and fulfilled by whatever I set out to accomplish. At pretty much any point in my life, I likely would have said I was the happiest I'd ever been. But the other day I was sitting there thinking about my life and my relationship with Sarah and I came to this conclusion: it's not that I was unhappy before I met her, I just had no idea how much happier I could be.Marrying Sarah multiplied my capacity for happiness exponentially. I don't know of anything in this world better than finding that one person who is perfection in your eyes and then have them feel the same way about you. This beautiful reciprocated love is the reason I feel I am the luckiest man in the world. Marriage is such a wonderful thing and if both partners respect each other and the promises they've made to one another, it can propel them both to new heights. That's what being married to Sarah has done for me--propelled me to new heights. I have so many things to be grateful for, but the fact that I get to wake up next to the cutest little sleepiest doll face will always be at the top of the list.I've always been known for my personality traits of passion, ambition, and enthusiasm. So as soon as this pretty girl came into my life, I became passionate about making her happy, ambitious to give her the world, and enthusiastic about showing her how precious she is to me. Anyone who knows me knows that there is nothing more important to me than reaching my dreams. But because Sarah is my life, my world, my everything, my main focus is helping her to reach her dreams and be the happiest woman in the world. Because she deserves the world and I'm determined to give it to her.The world may be a messed up place and daily life may be stressful and ridden with anxiety, but with Sarah everything just makes sense. She brought my world into focus when I didn't even know what it was like to see clearly. Love has that power, and I'm fortunate enough to share a special kind of love with Sarah, the kind where we hate to spend more than an hour apart. The kind where we always, no matter what, hug and kiss and cuddle after getting into a fight. The kind where we have rules we don't break, like never saying "shut up" to each other and never going to sleep without praying together.
