adding a twist to your Valentine's date night look.

Valentine's Day is just around the corner and i'm in full-on prep mode! it could be because i'm hosting a Galentine's brunch this year with my gals, but it's also probably because i love pink and red so much. combine them together and i feel like my wardrobe is going to explode {in the best way possible, haha!}. i have a few Valentine inspo posts to share with you this year, but i wanted to kick things off with a date night look!i usually opt for a dress for Valentine's date night. to me, it's the most feminine option for such a lovey-dovey night. but i've been on the hunt for something a bit different this year and when i came across this sequin top with bow details, i knew it was the winner {and on sale}! the sequins! the bows! such a fun statement top, yet one i can also wear with jeans and flats, too. i already had the red lace pants {remember how i styled them for Christmas?!}, but when i paired them together it became a pretty Valentine look! the two different textures made for a fun combo and a twist from what i'd usually choose to wear on February 14th.linking a few of my other favorite Valentine's date night looks below! do you have a hot date?! maybe a dinner with your girls? i'd love to know below! xx
