A Ladylike Look
I'm just over four months postpartum, and I feel like I'm finally getting back into more of a groove. That groove includes styling and wearing fun outfits! I took almost all of last year off from shooting styled looks with a photographer {other than on-the-go outfits with Robbie!} and it feels so good to once again style outfits that are very "me!" They might not always be mom or breast-feeding friendly, but I know those aren't my own roles, nor are those the only type of women reading my blog and shopping my looks. I guess this is a lengthy explanation of sharing how much I love styling fab outfits and posting them online for all of you!
When Gal Meets Glam sent me this sparkly boucle dress, I knew exactly how I wanted to style it: tea-time glam. I added designer tights, a fun pair of gloves, and a headband to complete the Blair Waldorf-esque ensemble. This would be a perfect outfit for the office {sans-gloves} or church, too! I love color, but I also love a chic black and white look. I feel feminine and polished in this and love all the pops of gold!
I've definitely been on a denim/leggings + top kick {easiest while breast-feeding}, but putting on a lady-like dress made me feel SO good. I've always had a very feminine style and with spring on my mind, I couldn't wait any longer to pull this little number out of my wardrobe! xx
