Our First Valentine's Day As A Family

Honestly, it's still kind of surreal some days that we are now a little family! Our Baby Taz has brought so much joy and love into our relationship and home. What better way to capture that joy for Valentine's Day than by doing a fun little cozy shoot in Tripp Oasis! When Robbie's sister {and photographer extraordinaire!} Chantel stayed with us a few weeks ago, she helped me set up a little Vday inspired corner to shoot some photos. I love how these turned out! It's so fun documenting every holiday with Taz and I know we will cherish these photos forever.

Being parents has easily been the hardest, yet most rewarding thing we've ever done. Completely devoting everything we have and are capable of doing to this little tiny human we are in charge of is wild! But I think that's what true love is all about. Our hearts just burst with love for our little Taz every single day {even on the hard days!}. He is so sweet and it's incredible watching him grow and develop. Every day he does something new and it's so fun to see the world through his eyes.

Taz just turned four months this week on the 12th and I joked to Robbie that we made it four whole months keeping him alive, haha! Some days it really does feel like we are just surviving, but then Taz will smile and giggle at us and it makes everything hard so worth it. We love our little man! Just in the last few weeks, he's started giggling, blowing his spit bubbles, and grabbing his toes. It feels like yesterday he was one week old, but man does time just keep getting sweeter with him.
