breakfast at Tiffany's.

the day before i headed to New York City, i attended the re-opening of the Tiffany & Co. in Union Square! it had been closed for two whole years for extensive renovations and the remodel is absolutely stunning. think gorgeous natural lighting, a garden terrace upstairs, and the best view of Union Square from the gallery.breakfast at Tiffany's was served and i'm still pinching myself over the incredible event! i tried on so many sparkly jewels, heard from the store manager all about the reason for the remodel, and mingled with some of my favorite SF blogger gals, including Ashley from Two Peas in a Prada and Katie from Lola & Ivy. it was such a fun morning and one for the books! we were among the first to see the renovations and i still can't even believe how beautiful the new store is! i first visited this Tiffany & Co. on my first trip to San Francisco with my family back in 2011. we were there a few days before Christmas, and my mom let me pick out a little momento to tuck into my stocking. i was that girl who was obsessed with the brand all throughout middle & high school and even into college {thanks, Elle Woods!}, so it was fun to come full circle and attend a breakfast at Tiffany's event!now, as for my outfit, i wanted to go with a modern Audrey Hepburn-esque look. this was the day before i left for NYFW, so you can imagine my stress & anxiety over those outfits/packing/weather delays. luckily, Rent the Runway came to my rescue! a few days before, i headed to their showroom on the 5th floor of Neiman Marcus {which also happens to be in Union Square} to choose a dress to borrow! i tried on so many gorgeous looks and went with this Marchesa floral woven dress. i loved that it was black, but with pink and gold details! we added the Sondra Roberts rose gold clutch and the day of i decided to throw on my pink faux fur jacket, as it was a chilly morning & pouring rain.Rent the Runway is such an incredible company and a one stop shop for finding outfits for any event you may have -- even if it's just to add a few fun pieces to your wardrobe each month! i loved my classy outfit & can't say enough good things about RTR {you may remember this dress i borrowed from them last Fashion week}. have the best weekend babes, and be sure to drop in to see the remodel of Tiffany if you're by Union Square! xx Marchesa floral woven dress c|o Rent The RunwaySondra Roberts rose gold clutch c|o Rent The Runwaygold heelsblack slip c|o Honey of Californiapink faux fur jacket {similar here & here}‘Valentine’ Kylie Lip Kit
