Charleston travel guide!

in April, robbie and i headed to Charleston to celebrate the one year anniversary of the launch of Julia Engel's collection Gal Meets Glam! it was truly a pinch me moment, as i've been reading Julia's blog for years and have always loved her classy, feminine style. before the trip, we had connected with Thomas and Julia {the ultimate team!} earlier in the year about potentially working together in some capacity to promote the GMG line. i've been wearing her dress collection since it launched last April and because it's so size inclusive {sizes 00-20 and petites} and very much so my style, we pitched ourselves as a good fit to represent the brand. lo and behold, when i received the email about attending a weekend in Charleston dedicated to celebrating GMG's first birthday, exploring Charleston with the ultimate tour guides, and wearing all GMG outfits to create beautiful content, i squealed with delight! Charleston has been on our travel bucket-list for some time and we couldn't wait to experience it first-hand with the GMG team.i'll be sharing lots of photos from the weekend below {you can shop all of the outfits i wore in this post, too}, everything we did, where we stayed, where we ate, photos opp spots, etc. April was such a beautiful time to visit Charleston because it's wasn't hot or humid yet! we had beautiful weather, albeit a few 20 minute rain storms here and there. highly recommend visiting at this time!where we stayed:86 Cannon- the cutest bed and breakfast boutique inn! we loved being hosted at such an intimate, beautiful spot for the weekend. it only has five rooms, but they are each spacious, perfectly decorated with Southern charm, and the breakfast each morning is delicious. there's cheese and wine offered every afternoon, as well! the staff was incredible and the rooms had everything we needed: a steamer {upon request}, white noise machine to sleep, luxurious shower, etc.
