creating my first Baby Registry with Walmart!

as a first time mom, i'll be 100% honest that creating a baby registry is super overwhelming. there's just so much baby stuff out there... what do i really need?! my first baby shower is next month {!!!!}, so i've really had to start thinking about creating a registry. i've talked to my mom friends, family, fellow bloggers, and i've read several articles/blogs {okay, more than several} to see what i really need. but even that can get overwhelming because everyone has a different opinion!Walmart just launched their new baby registry experience this spring... and let me tell you, it is incredible! sooo many brands that have been recommended to me are included on their baby registry and it's really a one-stop-shop for moms, new moms and moms-to-be. when i first started thinking about creating my own registry, i had asked my SIL Shannon {pediatric ER nurse, mom blogger, and my doula} her advice on a few items i need. you guys!!!!! she only gave me a handful of items {we are going to sit down and share a comprehensive list later this summer} and every.single.one. was on Walmart.com {!!!!}.Walmart's baby registry is quick and easy to fill out, has a wide assortment of brands {even premium brands!}, and of course has various price points to fit your lifestyle. you even get a welcome box and there's a ton of "best of" baby item recommendations to get you started if you are feeling totally lost like i was. when you first register, Hoo the Owl asks you questions {about your pregnancy like due date, if you know the sex, any nursery style preferences, etc.} to really help tailor and personalize your registry. basically, Walmart is helping us moms feel less overwhelmed with their seamless experience. if you're expecting, you can register here!i'll be sharing a few baby registry blog posts over the next several months, but today is the first and it's just a list of items i've had my eye on for a bit {and some of Shannon's recommendations}. if you have any item{s} that are must-haves, please let me know below! so fun and exciting to be at this point in my pregnancy! xxyou can click on each item in the collage below and i'm also chatting about each one individually if you keep scrolling! lastly, my pink dress is also from Walmart and it's $13! it's non-maternity, so comfy, and i sized up to the xl for my bump. my sandals are also Walmart!

1. Pampers Swaddlers newborn diapers {up to 10 lbs}: came highly recommended as my sister-in-law's faves! there's sooo many diaper brands out there, so i definitely wanted to go with a recommendation from a trusted source {she has four kids!}.2. Aquaphor Baby: you all know we are huge Aquaphor fans in the Tripp home {been using the brands for years and years!}, so of course Aquaphor baby will be a necessity for Baby Tripp!3. Owlet monitor: you've probably seen this all over Instagram and blogs, and i've always heard nothing but good things! in fact, there's literally over 3K reviews on Walmart.com for this and it has a 4.5 star rating. definitely on my must-have list! this monitor tracks your baby's heart rate and oxygen levels while they sleep... peace of mind for this first-time mom! another recommendation from Shannon :]4. white noise machine: we actually already own this exact one, so definitely can recommend this first hand! will be buying a second for Baby Tripp's nursery. we can't sleep without white noise as adults {haha}, so it's a must on my list.5. Halo Bassinest: i've read about a lot of various bassinets and this one comes out on top over and over again. Walmart also has the SNOO, which i've also heard is amazing {but pricey!}. love that there's so many options on their site to fit within your budget!6. baby monitor: i've seen this on multiple friends' and bloggers' registries! it has a 4.8 star rating on Walmart.com... good enough for me!7. Dockatot: every single mom i know has told me this is a must! love that Walmart carries it and in several different colors!8. Bumbo floor seat: obviously don't need this with a tiny new baby, but it's something i know i've always wanted for my Baby Tripp when he/she starts sitting up!9. Playtex Diaper Genie: as someone who is very sensitive to smells, my nursery will definitely need this for dirty diapers!10. wipe warmer: because who wants cold wipes on their skin?! this is seriously genius to me haha.11. Philips Avent Ultra Soft Pacifier: honestly, had no idea where to start on brands for a pacifier, but this brand was recommended to me by Shannon and it was already on Walmart's baby registry list. win-win!12. Comotomo baby bottle: apparently these are some of the best bottles {according to several sources!}. Shannon recommended getting either silicon {which these are} or glass {here's a glass option!}, as they don't keep chemicals like plastic do. i would have had no idea! luckily, both options are on Walmart.com. Shannon also suggested that it's best to start with the slowest flow nipple when choosing bottles {i'm such a newbie!}.13. NoseFrida the Snotsucker: for when baby gets sick! i have a feeling robbie will definitely not be doing this job, haha!
