curvy Barbie: NYFW day 1 with ASOS.

there's been a bit of radio silence on my blog, but for good reason! i've just returned home from New York Fashion Week and it's always such an inspiring/fun/exhausting trip. over the next few days this week, i'll be sharing with you all of my looks i wore to the shows, events, and presentations while there. this year, all of my looks are head-to-toe ASOS! you all probably know by now that ASOS is my go-to for fast fashion, and being able to style every outfit for NYFW with them was so fun! i was able to really elevate my style and wear some bold & bright looks... because you know i love me some hot pink. but the best part?! every single piece i'm wearing is budget friendly! andddd that's why ASOS is my fave.my Day 1 look consisted of pink, pink, more pink and of course, girl power. i'm obsessed with my hot pink midi skirt and it's fully stocked. pinks of all shades were all over the runways too, so you can bet i will continue to wear this skirt through fall, winter, and into spring. my distressed Barbie denim jacket is sadly sold out {i've linked a similar one below!}, but as soon as i saw it i knew i wanted to add 'curvy' onto it. last year for Christmas, robbie gave me this curvy Barbie because she looked just like me, and i've been in love with Mattel expanding their Barbie line ever since. robbie actually painted on 'curvy' for me and let's just say this jacket was a huge hit at NYFW! thanks babe!just a little recap of my Day 1 activities: my roommates and i started the day with a photoshoot by Laurel Creative and then attended the ShopBop event! we ran into so many blogger friends and everything at the event was so on-brand and chic. next, we headed over to Clarkson Skylight {one of the main venues} to watch the Noon by Noor show and the incredible Tadashi Shoji show, which was one of my favorites. we ended the evening with a rooftop event by Maskcara Beauty and dinner with friends at Dos Caminos. it was such a great first day! can't wait to share more outfits with you and all of the fun things i got to do at NYFW! stay tuned. xx girls to the front tee c|o ASOS hot pink midi skirt c|o ASOS distressed Barbie denim jacket {also love this and this} c|o ASOS black buckled heels c|o ASOS oversized drop pearl earrings c|o ASOS pink Karen Walker sunglasses pink Gucci Dionysus {also here}Candy Yum Yum lipstick
