my very last day in NYC during Fashion Week, i had a couple of business meetings to attend before catching my flight home. whenever i take meetings, i always like to look a little more professional over anything super trendy. even though i'm in the blogger industry and being trendy is important, i also love a structured looks that says 'let's work together and build a relationship.' i want brands and potential business partners to take me seriously, and i like to dress the part.a week before NYFW, i attended an amazing event at Club Monaco in SF with Hemster. over the past year, Club Monaco has easily become one of my very favorite brands. i love how feminine everything is while also being polished. Club Monaco has so many quality pieces that can really build any wardrobe {like this camel coat from last fall/winter!}. however, because of the high quality, most pieces are over $150. that being said, i think they are 100% worth it, and i personally tend to keep an eye on pieces i love & shop them when they go on sale. at the event, i picked up both this lace blouse and these pale pink trousers, and right away i knew this would be the perfect outfit for meetings. any combination of lace, pink, structure, and feminine details is a win to me! i tucked in the blouse to show off my waist that the trousers created, added my favorite cheetah print kitten heels, and basically felt on top of the world while meeting with some important people. huzzah!happy weekend! robbie had eye surgery {PRK, sort of like LASIK} a few days ago, so we are laying low and relaxing for the next few days! xx

these are the amazing ladies i traveled to NYFW with! from left to right: Latisha, Camilla, and Shannon. i seriously had the best time with them! we stayed up until the wee hours every single night talking... which may or may not have been such a good idea with the typical 12 hour days of NYFW, haha! but that's when you know they are amazing people. <3
