with New Year's Eve just a few short days away, i wanted to share with you another look that would be perfect for a NYE party or event! i love love love sparkles, sequins, metallics, etc, also, i've always thought that most NYE outfits look like they would be freezing cold! i'm all about getting dolled up and dressing for an occasion, but i believe it's still important to remember that it's in the middle of the winter. ;]enter light layering pieces that are season appropriate, but don't take away any glam from your outfit! i bought this layering turtleneck before i left for Paris and it was the perfect piece to layer under dresses and other sweaters. i also stock up on new tights each season because no one wants to see winter legs that haven't seen the sun in months... or be chilly all night! plus, i've always thought that these kinds of layering pieces make an outfit look sleek and pulled together in the winter.sorry i've been in MIA here on the blog! robbie and i had a great holiday week with my family in Las Vegas and now we are currently in Palm Springs, which was robbie's surprise Christmas gift to me. we will be home in SF for New Year's and i think it's safe to say that it's going to be a few degrees colder there! stay tuned for my Top Ten Memories of 2016 on the blog tomorrow! xx metallic bow dress black turtleneck black tightsred Chanel bag {similar here}Valentino Rockstuds cat-eye sunglasses Beso liquid lipstick
