Miramonte Resort: a desert oasis.

robbie and i recently visited our happy place: Palm Springs! after spending a few days in the sun there, we hopped on over to Indian Wells and stayed at the beautiful Miramonte Resort & Spa for a few days! it's about a 20-30 minute drive from PS and borders Palm Desert, which is known for its incredible shopping at El Paseo {the Rodeo Drive of the desert}. it was super fun getting to explore a new area and be so close to great shopping.Miramonte is such a gorgeous resort! the grounds are breathtaking, covered in lush grass and beautiful pink flowers. the style of the property is very Mediterranean, which has always been one of my favorite architectural styles. they recently renovated the lobby, spa, and pool so it all looks absolutely incredible, a true desert oasis.we ate several meals from the hotel restaurant Citrus and Palm and loved everything on the menu. my advice: get the Date Shake! the entire trip i was loving anything and everything with dates; it's a regional speciality considering they come from right there in the Coachella Valley. the best part about the restaurant is that you can order to your room, poolside, and even at the spa. it's quick delivery too, which is always so nice and convenient.our second day at the Miramonte, robbie and i booked a treatment at the Well Spa. we received an 80-minute couples massage and have never felt more relaxed. our treatment room was actually outdoors in a private villa which was a very nice touch. the spa also has several steam rooms, salt water pools, and a relaxation lounge. i loved the neutral vibes of the spa and could have stayed there all day long.while the spa is great, the pool area is probably the crowning jewel of the property! it has a breathtaking view of the Santa Rosa mountains and you can rent your own cabana in true vacation style. robbie and i enjoyed the whirlpool one night at sunset which was gorgeous. there's also an adults-only pool for those looking for extra relaxation and each pool has food & beverage service poolside.if you're looking to be a little more active, the Miramonte also offers tennis and golf as well! robbie wanted to take a private tennis lesson, but we were there while the popular BNP Paribas Open was going on at the iconic Indian Wells Tennis Gardens. next time!we loved our stay at the Miramonte and highly recommend this relaxing resort! if you're looking for a place to stay during Coachella, Miramonte also offers really great package deals, including van shuttles and on-site parties. our room was spacious, the service was great, and you can't get much better than their beautiful grounds in the middle of the desert.right now, the resort is offering a buy one, get the second room half-off package! thanks so much for having us Miramonte, we will most definitely be back! xx

thanks to the Miramonte Resort & Spa for hosting us!
