Our Wedding Day
on may 10, 2014, Robbie & i were sealed together for time and all eternity in the las vegas, nevada LDS temple by my grandfather. it was so special holding hands across the altar and looking into each other's eyes as we were finally named husband and wife. i am so thankful that we get to spend eternity together.
our marriage ceremony was at 11am but we had to be there around 9:30am, so i started getting ready early at 7am. then later that afternoon, i got ready again with my bridesmaids before the reception. it was so fun having this girl time on my special day & i'm sure they all appreciated not having to be at my house at 7am that morning!
our reception took months of planning because of course i wanted it to be perfect! i had a clear vision for years & our amazing wedding planner helped bring it to life. i don't think it came as a surprise to anyone that it was like a pink, gold, and glitter wonderland. the reception turned out better than i ever could have imagined & i was just so happy that my fairytale wedding came true!
our wedding rings were custom designed in my hometown of las vegas at the incredible Jeff White Custom Jewelry. Robbie designed my ring from start to finish with our good friend Danny White and i still get questions about it to this day. it is a rose gold braided band with a pear cut diamond, a diamond halo, and two pink sapphire stones for my signature pop of pink. i was breathless when Robbie proposed with it. as for Robbie's ring, it has a rose gold band around it to match mine, and on the inside of the band it has my name engraved in my own handwriting. Jeff White has custom designed jewelry for many celebrities because the work they do truly makes each piece one of a kind. we love these beautiful symbols of our commitment to each other and were so happy we got to put our own personal touches on them.
robbie got up on stage in front of everyone and read the most tender and special poem for me that he read written just for our special day. i was so teary while he read & felt so grateful for such a loving and romantic husband.
i've said this every time someone asks about our wedding: having a live band at our reception was the best decision we made! everyone loved the fun, upbeat music all night & it was such a fun way for everyone to celebrate on the dance floor. The energy of live music really took the evening to the next level & dancing with all our friends and family was definitely our favorite part of the reception!
