feminine menswear.

when it comes to cocktail attire, i always have a bit of a hard time finding something that works. at the rewardStyle Conference i attended a few weeks ago {recap coming soon!}, one of the events was a cocktail party hosted by Bumble. i wanted to wear something sleek and crisp, instead of my usual go-to of sequins on a fitted silhouette. this was the one outfit that i was scrambling to find the day before i flew out, and when i came across this blazer dress, i knew it was going to make for the perfect look! i've worn a pink version previously for an event that was fitted and feminine, but i loved how this piece was less structured with a touch of masculinity. i made sure to add pretty details like my neck tie blouse and gold-tipped Gucci heels to bring the outfit together.my girl Ashley from Two Peas in a Prada told me it was very Khloe Kardashian of me, and i loved the compliment! i usually tend to choose more feminine pieces for these kind of events, but that's the best part about fashion-- you can wear whatever you want depending on your mood! and i definitely didn't mind that this outfit didn't require any spanx... ha! xx black blazer dressneck tie blouseGucci gold-tipped heels {similar here}lipstick print YSL mini bag {also here and here}black chandelier earringsRuby Woo lipstick
