sassy red in NYC.

we are back home from NYC and today was spent catching up on emails and cleaning our home {#mondaygrind}! i always love spending time in the Big Apple, and this trip was no different. we had several very productive meetings with brands, shot something really fun with my girl Iskra, visited The Skimm HQ, and of course did lots of window shopping on 5th Avenue. i couldn't resist adding this beautiful pop-of-color Louis Vuitton shawl while day dreaming of my next purchase. these photos were shot against the prettiest red Cartier storefront!i always get lots of questions regarding New York when i travel there, so i wanted to leave a few recommendations below specifically from this trip, as well as previous travel posts from NYC {here, here, here, and here}.-stay at our fave hotel Hotel Giraffe {so conveniently located, roomy, luxurious, breakfast included, etc. i could go on and on, but there's a reason why we opt to stay here almost every time we are in the city!}-go eat dinner at Tao {so vibey, so yummy, and the night crowd really comes out to play past 9pm if that's your thing}-luxury vintage shop at What Goes Around Comes Around {located in the heart of SoHo, includes designers like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, etc}-grab lunch at The Sosta {my second time eating here! it's Italian and so delicious}-another favorite lunch spot is Barbounia {Greek/Mediterranean food, get the hummus and the free range chicken sandwich, short walk from Hotel Giraffe}-my favorite treat in NYC will forever & always be Levain Bakery cookies {three locations to choose from now in NYC!}feel free to leave any NYC travel questions below! as a former resident and now someone who travels there quite a few times a year, i know my way around the City! see you in September for Fashion Week, NYC! xx red Louis Vuitton shawl c|o Julia Rosewhite eyelet dress {comes in 2 other colors and on sale!}heart sunglassesred sandals c|o Sole Societymini red Chanel Vanity bagPatrick Woo lipstick
