Taz's First Easter
Happy Easter! It might feel a little different this year, but there's still so much to celebrate. Our sweet Taz baby turns six months today {!!!!} and on Easter last year we announced we were pregnant, so it feels extra special this year. And of course, it's such a beautiful time to think about our Savior Jesus Christ and everything He's done for us. He is Risen!
We were supposed to be in Utah this Easter, celebrating with our Tripp family. So many of our Tripp relatives still haven't met Taz {Robbie's oldest sister + her family, Robbie's grandparents on both sides, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.}, but we are thankful all of our family is safe and healthy. We will visit eventually this year! Instead, it's definitely a bit more of a simple Easter. But we still wore our Sunday best for some at-home worship, we have Zoom calls scheduled with both sides of our family's later today, and tonight we are still eating an Easter ham for dinner {albeit much more simple because I'm not much of a cook!}. One day we will look back and tell Taz all about his first Easter and how simple, yet still special it was.
We snapped these photos right before everything got serious and Arizona went into lockdown a few weeks ago. I'm so glad we did too because these are such special photos to me and mark a unique time in Taz's little life. I couldn't resist dressing him up as a little bunny... the ears + tail are too adorable! His smocked Easter one piece is here. Plus, the little mini floral shirt truly makes Taz look like a mini-Robbie!
Hope you all have a wonderful Easter. Sending light and love during this time. xx
