#LTKgetaway: paradise at the Fairmont Mayakoba

when rewardStyle and LikeToKnow. It invited me and robbie to come to Mexico, i think i replied yes without even knowing any details! it was such a honor to be invited on the first ever #LTKgetaway, and i knew it would be such a blast! rewardStyle always thinks of everything: fun activities, lots of opportunities to create the best content, amazing little details, and of course excellent company. we love our rS fam! every single person who works for them is amazing, so sharp, and incredibly kind. it's exactly the kind of company i love associating myself with. not to mention all the other incredible bloggers that came, as well!when we found out we were going to be staying at the Fairmont Mayakoba, i immediately googled the resort and could not believe my eyes. andddd it was just as stunning {if not more so} in person than online showcased. we flew straight into Cancun from SF {5.5 hours}, and we were picked up promptly at the airport & whisked away to the Fairmont Mayakoba {it's about 30 mins away!}. upon arrival, we were given a warm welcome with citrus infused towels, fun drinks, and shown to our room. the property is huge, so we actually took golf carts {or bikes!} everywhere.you probably saw the rest on my IG Stories, but our room was so amazing! LTK really thought of everything! there was a little sign on our door that read 'Casita de @sassyredlipstick' ... and that was just beginning of the cutest LTK touches. i was given custom pjs, hangers, amazing toiletry items from some of my favorite brands, and of course the amazing loot they left on our beds! i'll share photos below with the items and exact brands, but these goodies included a custom LTK woven beach tote, monogrammed straw hat, sunnies, jewelry, cute pouches, and Instax camera + film, custom swell bottles, LTK towel, etc! i will link all of my outfits below! i didn't include every single swimsuit i wore on the trip in this post, but you can see them all and shop in this swim post

we arrived just in time for the first dinner on our first night! i wore this sassy red jumpsuit and it was the perfect look for a mix and mingle dinner. the amazing manager of the Fairmont Mayakoba gave a speech, we all ate and chatted, and at the end of the night we cracked open an edible, chocolate piñata that was full of Mexican sweets and candies! perfect start to our trip!

the next day, robbie and i woke up bright and early to shoot swim looks at sunrise! we rode bikes down to the beach {again, it's a very large property, so bikes are the perfect way to get around!} at 6am. we shot four swim looks in record time and made it to breakfast at Las Lagunas, the yummy buffet restaurant on the property, just before leaving for Tulum!

i wrote about our day in Tulum in this blog post, but just as a recap we traveled about an hour to the Gran Cenote {a natural sinkhole with clear, beautiful water} and continued on to the Coba Mayan Ruins! we biked and hiked there, and it was such a fun day getting to see the cultural side of Mexico. i wore this crochet swimsuit and rolled denim shorts, as it was very hot & humid. when we returned back to the Fairmont, we relaxed by the pool until the evening. dinner was also at Las Lagunas, but this time it was an authentic Mexican dinner, full of yummy dishes like chicken mole and tableside guacamole. every single meal we had so delicious! we passed out that night after a fun, full day!

the next morning started off with a boat ride along the canals! the LTK team had set up the entire ride full of the cutest details and it was seriously so relaxing. i mean, the coconut and pineapple drinks! the LTK pillows! everything was so well-thought out. after, us gals all had massages at the spa. spa days are my fave and i definitely fell asleep. the pool at the spa was so dreamy, too! lunch was at Las Brisas, which is another restaurant on the property. this was probably my favorite meal! it was beachside, so the view of the palm trees, beach, and water couldn't be beat! my favorite dishes were the pumpkin humus, roasted chicken, and homemade popsicles. following lunch, the LTK team had set up a fun beach photoshoot with a photographer, videographer, and drone! i had so much fun shooting with robbie and all the gals. after, we just all sat around and talked for a few hours. the sun was setting and it was such a great way to end the day.

dinner that night was held at the Tortuga Presidential Suite! it was outside with beautiful twinkle lights and right on the water. this was the final dinner together! we were welcomed by a traditional Mayan warrior, which was really cool! we ate a delicious meal and talked until almost midnight with the rS team and all our new friends. this trip was easily such a 'pinch me moment.' some of the other bloggers on this trip i had followed for years, and it was so fun to became real life friends with them! robbie and i had the best time hanging out with Emily and her husband John! i've followed Emily since i started blogging, and she truly is 'the sweetest thing.' we had so much fun with them!

the next morning, we shot more outfits, ate lunch in our room, and then headed to the airport! the Fairmont Mayakoba was such a gorgeous property and we loved staying here. there's so many options for restaurants, five pools, fun activities to do on or around the resort, it's right on the beach, and you could just tell that everyone was there to relax. it is kid-friendly, for those wondering! there's even a kids' center. the staff was so, so kind, too! we met several of the various managers of the property and everyone was so warm & welcoming. i already told me family we need to come back!

a huge thanks to rewardStyle, the LTK team, the Fairmont Mayakoba, and Zap Water for such an incredible trip! i feel so lucky to have experienced the #LTKgetaway with so many amazing people! be sure to follow me on the LTK app here and make your reservations to experience the paradise of the Fairmont Mayakoba here! xx
