today is #NationalLipstickDay and i'm so excited to share with you some of my very favorite MAC lipstick shades. this is not sponsored, i just love MAC lipsticks the most and have many, many various shades from the brand. i am almost four years into this blogging gig and i can't believe i've never done a specific blog post on my favorites! i've always loved how pigmented MAC lipsticks are and just how many options they offer. from mattes and satins to frosts and metallics, MAC has so many different finishes and textures.

from the swatch above, i'll be sharing my very faves from left to right:

Rebel: this is my favorite color to wear in the fall. it's a gorgeous berry shade that you can build to be darker or lighter, depending on how many layers you put on. it's a satin finish, so it's creamy and doesn't dry out your lips. {you can see it on me here and here}

Heroine: this is a bright purple in a matte finish. it's such a fun shade, and one that i really love on me but don't wear super often. i usually save it for fall, as well, and wear it with shades of chartreuse for a nice contrast. {see it on me here and here}

Pink Nouveau: this is easily the color i wear the most. it's the prettiest soft pink with a satin finish. i love that it isn't drying and since i wear so much pink and pastels, it truly goes with so much of my wardrobe. in fact, i just finished a tube! that doesn't happen often with most lipsticks. {see it on me here and here}

Candy Yum Yum: i LOVE this neon pink shade! it is matte, so it's a bit drying, but the pigment is SO good. i've been wearing it for years with my most bright pink outfits. {see it on me here and here}

Impassioned: robbie bought this shade for me last #NationalLipstickDay as a cute little surprise, and for some reason i'm just now wearing it this summer! it's a bright coral-pink shade and perfect for summer. it's an amplified finish, so it's creamy and buildable. {see it on me here}

Morange: i just bought this last month and love it! i was on the hunt for a fun orange shade for summer and several of you recommended it to me. it's another amplified finish, so it goes on very smooth and creamy. it's truly a color i'll probably only wear each summer, but so far i can't get enough of it. {see it on me here and here}

Ruby Woo: my go-to red lipstick, hands down. it's a retro matte and stays on for what seems like forever, and i absolutely love this shade. it's the red i always recommend to people because it's a true blue-red, so it's flattering on basically all complexions. {see it on me here and here}
